Graduate Student Appreciation Week

Due to the spring break extension and remote course delivery, the 2020 Graduate Student Appreciation Week has been cancelled.

With the safety and health of our students, faculty, and staff in mind, we plan to reschedule the Wine + Cheese Social and Round Rock Student Social later this semester. Stay tuned for more details!

Please contact if you have any questions.

Texas State University has a vibrant graduate community, with over 4,000 students enrolled in over 100 master’s and doctoral programs. Every year, The Graduate College celebrates this community with a week-long event: Graduate Student Appreciation Week (GSAW), which recognizes the contributions, impact, and value of our graduate and professional students. The week is filled with a variety of free events for graduate students, including socials, wellness activities, workshops, and other special events.

Thank you to our external and internal sponsors: MedSpring Urgent Care, Alkek Library, Alumni Relations, Career Services, Center for Gender and Diversity Studies, Graduate House of Representatives, International Student and Scholar Services, Office of the Assistant VP for Academic Affairs in Round Rock, Office of the Provost, Retention Management and Planning, and Writing Center.

We would also like to thank the City of San Marcos - Mayor's Office for having proclaimed Graduate Student Appreciation Week and the businesses in the greater San Marcos and Round Rock communities for the door prizes they have provided.
