This status is for those students who want to enroll in graduate level courses to be transferred back to their primary college or university.
Admission as a Visiting Student
In order to apply as a Visiting Student, you must:
- Submit the Graduate Application for Admission:
- Submit a $10 non-refundable application fee for all new Post Graduate students. A $50.00 (U.S. currency) international/evaluation fee is required if the application is considered for admission based on foreign credentials. Please Note: Students who change their admission status must pay the fee associated with their application status.
- Complete the Visiting Student Form. Visiting Student Form
- Obtain approval from the institution granting your degree for the course(s) listed on the form.
- Obtain approval from the Graduate Advisor or Departmental Chair at Texas State offering the course(s).
- You are responsible for making sure that the form has been signed by the appropriate departments. If the form does not have the correct signatures, it may be returned to you to obtain the required signatures and your admission will be delayed.
