POST-BACCALAUREATE STUDENTS
Submit an official Application for Admission:

  • You may apply online through the ApplyTexas Application. Please allow 2 working days for the application to be received by Texas State.

Submit a $10 non-refundable application fee. A $50.00 (U.S. currency) international/evaluation fee is required if the application is considered for admission based on foreign credentials. Please Note: Students who change their admission status must pay the fee associated with their application status.

Non-Texas State graduates must submit one official transcript from each college or university attended. These transcripts must be mailed directly from the university or college attended or submitted in a sealed university envelope with the university's registrar's signature on the back of the envelope.  Please check with the Texas college or university you have attended to determine if they submit electronic transcripts to Texas State.  Texas State transcripts will be provided.

Eligibility regarding acceptance will be made by the Office of Educator Preparation.  If you hold a teacher certificate and are seeking additional teacher certification, you will also be required to submit a copy of this certificate directly to the Office of Educator Preparation.  For further information, or to make an appointment, you may contact the Center for Student and Professional Services at (512) 245-3050.

Should you decide to apply to a graduate degree program, up to six hours of graduate-level courses, with a grade of 'B' or better, may be petitioned for degree credit after regular degree-seeking admission has been granted.
