The Graduate College will continue to process applications received after the deadline for this program, on a first-come, first-served basis, with no guarantees for admission consideration. In order to apply for admission consideration for future terms, applicants must submit a new application, fee, and updated support documents.

Application and Application Fee

Please apply online through the ApplyTexas Application and allow 2 working days for the application to be received by Texas State.  You will apply as a Non-Degree/Visiting Applicant in ApplyTexas.  Non-Degree Seeking Students are individuals who want to enroll in course work for personal enrichment, background (leveling) requirements, work related, etc., but are not for graduate degree credit.  These courses will appear on the Texas State transcript.  You are NOT eligible for financial aid under this status.

The required non-refundable $10.00 application fee can be submitted with credit/debit card information during the application process.  If you prefer, you may submit a non-refundable $10.00 application fee (check or money order in U.S. currency) made payable to Texas State.  Mailing address:

San Marcos, TX 78666-4684

Please Note:  Students who wish to change their program or apply to an additional program must pay the fee associated with the new application.  Should you decide to apply to a graduate degree program, up to six hours of graduate-level courses, with a grade of 'B' or better, may be petitioned for degree credit through the program graduate advisor after regular degree-seeking admission has been granted.

An additional international evaluation fee of $50.00 (U.S. currency) is required if the application is considered for admission based on foreign credentials.

Applicants must submit one official transcript from the college granting their highest degree completed. This transcript must contain the degree statement, which includes the type of degree received and the date it was conferred. These transcripts must be submitted directly to the Graduate College to the above address in a sealed envelope with the university registrar's signature on the back of the envelope. Please check with the Texas college or university attended to determine if they submit electronic transcripts to Texas State. Texas State transcripts will be provided.

All applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university.
