The Graduate College will continue to process applications received after the deadline for this program, on a first-come, first-served basis, with no guarantees for admission. Applications that have been received too late to process for the specified semester will be processed for the next available semester of admission for that program.

ADMISSION AS A MASTER'S STUDENT:

TRANSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS:
If you are not a Texas State University-San Marcos degree recipient or are not currently enrolled, one official transcript from each senior college or university attended is required. These transcripts must be mailed directly from the university or college attended or submitted in a sealed university envelope with the university's registrar's signature on the back of the envelope.
REGULAR ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
You must have a 2.75 GPA on the last 60 undergraduate semester hours of letter-grade work earned before receipt of your Bachelor's (plus any previously completed graduate or professional work.) A minimum score of 2000 on admission index is calculated by adding the GPA of the last 60 hours times 400 to the GRE (verbal and quantitative combined). After receiving your file from the Graduate College, Dr. Nowicki in Healthcare Administration will send you a letter asking you to submit additional materials to him for program review.
Submit Directly to Department:
1) Three letters of reference from professionals competent to assess the applicant's interest in
pursuing a career in healthcare administration
2) Applicant's written statement of purpose indicating ability and interest in completing the
degree program in healthcare administration
3) Current Resume
4) An interview used to confirm the applicant's ability and interest to not only pursue, but to
complete the program
